First Michigan politicians passed a law to cheat democracy with “Emergency Finance Managers,” stripping away our right to go to the polls and choose our leaders.

We are on the side of the majority of Michiganders who do not want Emergency Finance Managers.
An Emergency Finance Manager Law is just another way to cheat democracy by stripping away the collective bargaining rights of teachers, social workers, firefighters, police officers, nurses and more.

Volunteers with the Protect Our Jobs(POJ) coalition are out in force and will be conducting a petiton signature blitz on Saturday, May 19th between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. This blitz will target at least the following six areas: Mt Clemens, Taylor, Detroit, Flint, Lansing, and Saginaw.
